Abstract:
Green Computing concept is to improve environmental condition. The main aim of Green Computing is to reduce poisonous materials from the environment. Today, it is the major issue to prepare equipment by which we can achieve efficient energy and to minimize e-waste and usage of non-poisonous materials in preparing the e-equipments. With the help of Green Computing we can reduce resource consumption and disposal of e-waste. We can implement Green Computing in the creation of computer equipment like CPU parts or any other peripheral devices. Green Computing can help us to create a safe and healthy environment.
Keywords: Green Computing, e-waste and e-equipment.
Introduction:
The information technology has changes the way we live, work, learn and do things. It has several employment opportunities across the globe, as computer literacy has become prerequisite condition in every sector. The computer’s ability to store, retrieve and manipulate large amount of data has led to its widespread use. But at each stage of a computers life, from its manufacture to its disposal, it exhibits some environmental problems.
Green Computing is the eco-friendly use of computers and its resources. In broader terms, it is also defined as the study of designing, manufacturing, using and disposing of computer devices in a way that reduces their harmful impact on the environment. The goals of Green Computing are to reduce the usage of hazardous materials, maximize energy efficiency during the products lifetime and to promote recyclability and biodegradability of products.
Result and discussion:
In recent years companies in the computer industries have realized that Green Computing is in their best interests, both in terms of public relations and reduced costs. Ultimately Green computing focuses on ways to reduce overall environmental impact. Its main purpose is to find and promote new ways to reduce pollution, discover alternative technologies and create more recyclable products.

Conclusion:
Modern computing poses not only technical problems but it also has to face major environmental challenges in terms of its high power consumption. With increase in IT infrastructure, it is a clear point that effective Green Computing policy must be formulated to minimize its environmental effects. Green Computing techniques help us to reduce power consumption and heat which is evolved by the computer machines. It helps to make our environment safe and healthy.
